The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC)
In Great Britain, most forms of online betting and casino gaming for consumers are regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). Its role is to license operators, set and enforce rules, and help ensure that gambling is conducted fairly and openly, that crime is kept out of gambling, and that children and vulnerable people are protected.
WagerFluxSpin.com does not provide licences, and we are not part of the UKGC. We simply highlight operators that we understand to be licensed so that you can investigate further yourself.
Checking a casino’s licence
Before you register or deposit with an online casino, you should always check that it is properly licensed for players in Great Britain. A typical check involves:
- Finding the operator name and licence number in the footer of the casino’s website.
- Confirming that the licence is issued by the UK Gambling Commission.
- Verifying the details on the official UKGC public register.

What the regulator can and cannot do
The UKGC has powers to take regulatory action against licence holders, including fines, licence suspension and licence revocation. However, the regulator does not directly resolve every individual dispute between a player and a casino. In many cases, formal complaints go through an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider first.
If you have a complaint, always follow the casino’s own complaints process in full, and then escalate only if necessary according to the procedures described on the UKGC website.
Our role as an information site
WagerFluxSpin is not authorised to give legal advice and we cannot guarantee that every casino we reference will remain licensed in the future. Our listings are intended as a starting point, not a substitute for your own checks.
You should consider seeking independent legal or financial advice if you are unsure about the legality or risk profile of any gambling product that is available to you in the United Kingdom.
